New Harvest Farmers Market opens for the season on Thursday. The event is free and open to the public. Shop for locally-grown produce, flowers, artisan crafts and more. It lasts until 6 p.m. 

The Knoxville Ice Bears will take on the Peoria Rivermen on Friday. Puck drops at 7:35 p.m. and doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets range in price. 

Celebrate Good Friday down on Market Square with the Stations of the Cross. Participants will walk a route with different stops along the way. The event is open to the public and starts at 5:30 p.m. 

River View Family Farm will host their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Friday and Saturday. There's food, music and plenty of fun for the whole family. The fun lasts from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $9. 

The Knoxville Track Club will host the Volunteer Track Classic on Friday and Saturday. The public is encouraged to attend. The meets begin at 5 p.m. on Friday at UT's Tom Black Track.

Ijams Nature Center's "Wag and Walk" is on Saturday. Dr. Louise Conrad will review dog etiquette and answer safety questions, while guests and their furry friends enjoy a stroll through the area. The cost is $5. It starts at 9 a.m. 

Saturday is "Spring Fest" at the Cherokee Caverns. Explore the cave and enjoy food, music, face-painting and more. There will even be a petting zoo. It lasts from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Robertsville Baptist Church in Oak Ridge will host an Easter Egg Helicopter Drop on Saturday. The first drop will be for children 5 and under, and the second drop will be for children ages 6 to 12. There will also be snacks and inflatable bounce houses. It starts at 11 a.m. 

EarthFest will be on Saturday at the Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum. Guests can learn about sustainable living, enjoy attractions and exhibits, and more. It starts at 11 a.m. 

Townsend Founder's Day is on Saturday at the Visitors Center. The festival will highlight the town's history by offering a walking tour, demonstrations and more. It lasts from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Gatlinburg's annual "Easter Sunrise Service" will be on Sunday at Ober Gatlinburg. The mountain service will be led by local pastors. It starts at 6:30 a.m., and Ober will offer free Aerial Tram rides beginning at 5 a.m. There will also be a breakfast buffet.
