Music Feeds concert series with benefit Second Harvest

The concerts will be held on Saturday nights at the Tennessee Amphitheater in World's Fair Park.

A brand new concert series is coming to Knoxville, and the proceeds will help feed the hungry.

Second Harvest Food Bank announced the Music Feeds series will kick off in May at the Tennessee Amphitheater in World’s Fair Park.

Here's the lineup:

  • Saturday, May 5: The Devon Allman Project with special guest Duane Betts
  • Saturday, June 2: Here Come the Mummies
  • Saturday, July 21: Ben Haggard
  • Thursday, Aug. 9: Billy Bob Thornton and the Boxmasters
  • Saturday, Aug. 11: Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
  • Saturday, Sept. 1: Hotel California
  • Saturday, Oct. 6: Absolute Journey

“We are so thrilled to bring this exciting concert series to downtown Knoxville. Our sincere hope is to bring life and music back to the Tennessee Amphitheater, so that the people of Knoxville can enjoy an evening with friends, all while helping to fight hunger in the 18 counties we serve," said Elaine Streno Second Harvest Executive Director.

Food trucks and beverages will be on site at the Tennessee Amphitheater starting at 5:30 p.m. All shows will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Individual tickets will sell for $20-$75 and will go on sale March 26. You can also buy tickets to entire series for $140 to $350, starting on February 26. Tickets can be purchased online at www.knoxvilletickets.com or by calling 865-656-4444.

You can make a night of it by spending the night at nearby hotels, The Tennessean or Holiday Inn, and the proceeds from those rooms will also benefit Second Harvest.
