A day in the life of Chris Blue begins early. It starts around 5:30 or 6 a.m.

From sunrise to sundown, he's planned his schedule down to the minute.

"Going to wardrobe, stage blocking, rehearsing, and going to record iTunes, ten minutes to grab some food,” Blue said.

So busy that he hasn't seen much of California - but lucky for him, he’s got little bits of Hollywood right at his fingertips.

Like when the In-N-Out food truck rolled on the lot.

"Apparently this burger is one of the best burgers in Los Angeles,” said Blue.

After a big bite, he gave it two thumbs up.

The Voice shares the same lot as Universal Studios, meaning famous places are just a ride away.

In a tour, Chris showed WBIR 10News where NBC’s musical performance of Hairspray was shot, and where the famous Back to the Future library clock sits.

After a little sight-seeing, Chris has to get back to business.

The day ends around 10 or 11 p.m.

You just hop in the bed and do it all over again the next day,” said Blue.
