Mother's Day is right around the corner, and the mom of Knoxville's Chris Blue, who is still alive on NBC's hit show The Voice, couldn't be more proud.
Janice Blue Williams has enjoyed every second of being in Los Angeles with her son.
"Some of those moves he did, I haven't even seen before," she says, referring to Chris's performance of Bruno Mars' "24k Magic."
And she has seen a lot. Chris is the youngest of seven, and while he has the spotlight now, Janice makes sure all of her children realize that they have a voice.
"I've always taught my kids be humble and in time God will exalt you. He will open doors for you, " she says.
The glitz and glamour that come with being on The Voice is certainly impressive, but she's making sure everyone stays grounded.
"Our faith has gotten us here, and all glory belongs to God for what he's done," she said.
