Grilled Cantaloupe and Pineapple Skewers with Citrus Honey Glaze

Serves 12


1 Pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into 1" cubes

1 Cantaloupe, peeled, cored and cut into 1" cubes

1 tsp. garam masala (or to taste)

24- 6" wooden skewers


1 C. honey

ΒΌ C. orange juice

2 tbsp. chiffonade mint


Soak skewers overnight. Alternate fruits on skewers, four to six pieces per skewer depending on how many cubes you get out of each fruit. Sprinkle with garam masala and grill over medium high heat for about two minutes on each side, turning once. Be careful not to overcook the fruit. In a small mixing bowl whisk together the honey, orange juice and mint. Drizzle over skewers after grilling and serve.
