1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup pecans
Mix together and set aside. You will use half of this topping in the middle of the cake and the other half on top.
2 cups self-rising flour
1/2 cup butter at room temp
1 cup white sugar
2 cups apple butter divided (half for cake and the other half for a middle layer.
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup graham crackers
1 cup sour cream
Preheat Oven to 350 degrees; grease 9 by 13 pan. Mix dry ingredients. Add sour cream, 1 cup apple butter, eggs ,vanilla, butter.
Layer half cake batter in pan, sprinkle with half the topping. Layer 1 cup apple butter over mixture.
Layer remaining cake batter. Sprinkle remaining topping and bake for 40 minutes. Check after 30 minutes, depending on your oven.
