2.5 lbs cushaw cored, peeled, sliced

2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 cup brown sugar
6 T. butter
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup half & half

Lay cushaw out in a baking dish, sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg over the top. Sprinkle with brown sugar and 6 tablespoons of butter. Pour 3/4 cup heavy cream around the edges and the half-and-half down the center. Cover with foil and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes to 1 hour.
