5 cups cooked sweet potatoes (five or six sweet potatoes)

1 cup white sugar
8 tablespoons of softened butter
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs

1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup flour
4 TBS Soft butter
1 cup pecans
optional 1/2 cup marshmallows

Preheat oven to 350, boil or bake sweet potatoes until tender; peel and mash. Stir in sugar, butter, vanilla, milk and eggs and pour into a 9 x 13 casserole. For topping mix sugar, flour, nuts and butter and spread over the potato casserole. Bake for 30 minutes and top with marshmallows the final 10 minutes.
