1/2 white onion finely chopped

1/4 tsp Mustard seeds

4-5 Curry leaves

1/4 cup green peas

1/4 cup chopped carrot

1/4 cup tomato

2 cups cream of wheat

1 cup warm water


Oil salt to taste

1 tsp lime juice.


1. Heat oil in a saucepan and add mustard seeds and curry leaves.

2. Add onions and sauté until tender.

3. Add cream of wheat and sauté to lightly toast

4. Add salt, peas, carrots, tomatoes and mix well

5. Add water and mix. Cover and cook for 5-10 mins.

6. Garnish with cilantro.

Tip: To add spice to this recipe you can add 1/2 green chili with the curry leaves and mustard seeds.
