A miracle was born out of tragedy for one Irish woman.

Michelle Hui was devastated when she miscarried six weeks into her pregnancy with her third child. She had to take two abortion pills in order to avoid a life-threatening infection to make sure everything passed out of her body.

Doctors released Hui the next day and told her to take a pregnancy test to make sure no dangerous blood clots remained in her body. But when she took the test, it came back positive. Instead of finding blood clots, doctors found a heartbeat.

As it turns out, Hui was carrying twins. Although one of the babies passed away, the other was alive and well. Hui said doctors missed the second baby in the scan because of all the blood clots.

Doctors said 18-month-old Megan is a medical miracle. They've never heard of a child surviving both a miscarriage and an abortion.
