An East Tennessee country music star has tied the knot in her hometown.

The band's publicist confirmed to the Tennessean that Kimberly Perry of the Band Perry got married Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church in Greeneville.

A large crowd gathered outside the church to try to get a glimpse of Perry, her famous brothers, and guests. Perry's entourage tried to shield the bride from the rain and the cameras with black umbrellas, but tv station WCYB did manage to get some video of the Perry in her beautiful wedding gown.

One of her famous guests, Carrie Underwood, also smiled for the cameras and waved to the crowds.

Perry married former Texas Rangers catcher J.P. Arencibia, who also played baseball at Tennessee. He asked her to marry him last October at her parent's house in Greeneville.
