(WBIR, Knoxville) - The Winter Olympics start this week in Sochi.

You can catch all of the action on WBIR and other NBC Universal stations.

If you are a Comcast customer, they're offering a new platform to watch the Olympics, no matter what screen you're looking at.

Using the X1 platform, which creates a more visual user experience, customers can find out what live events are happening across NBC Universal Networks. You can also see medal counts.

With the NBC Live Extra App, you can see what's happening live in Sochi.

You will also find athlete profiles and you can search specific sports to watch.

Comcast will also have every minute of action and every medal available with On-Demand.

"It's the most comprehensive coverage of any Olympics ever. It's going to be almost 1,700 hours so customers cannot only watch it live, but they can watch it on demand later and then they can see the content on NBC in prime time," said Comcast Senior Director of Government and Public Affairs Russell Byrd.

The X1 platform comes with all triple play packages. You can call Comcast for more information.
