92 birds shot & dumped, TWRA looking for the shooter

TWRA is looking for someone who killed and dumped nearly a hundred birds in West Tennessee.

In Crockett County, near Jackson, wildlife officers found 92 dead birds in one area near the Crockett and Madison County lines. The dead birds included various songbirds including cardinals and bluebirds, as well as game birds, a Canada goose, and a chicken.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Region 1 office at (731) 423-5725 or the poaching hotline at 1-800-831-1173.
