Officials say a 15-year-old Clinton High School student is in custody after leaving notes making false threats about a school shooting in a classroom.
According to the Anderson County Sheriff's Office, the notes were found in a classroom at the high school on Monday afternoon.
School resource officers and investigators traced the notes back to a 15-year-old girl.
She's being held in the Richard L. Bean Juvenile Detention Center in Knoxville pending a detention hearing.
The sheriff's office said she will face charges for felony false reports and disorderly conduct.
