Knoxville Police have released the names of two men who died of multiple gunshot wounds, though there are still few details about what led to the shooting.
Monday evening, a woman called 911 to report a man had been shot in her home on Whittle Springs Road. When officers arrived, they found two men dead of multiple gunshot wounds.
James Aaron Taylor, Jr., 25 was found inside the home. Courtney Deontea Gillette, 25, was lying in the front yard.
Investigators say the men knew each other, and that the shooting was not a random act. More than one handgun was found at the scene

Knoxville Police say two men are dead after a shooting at a North Knoxville house.
It happened around 6:10 p.m. in the 2800 block of Whittle Springs Road, near Edgewood Avenue. Police found two men shot dead when they arrived at the home. Officers found one man inside and one lying in the front yard.
Police say they do not know who shot the men or why. They will not identify the victims until they have spoken with next-of-kin.
Neighbors and family of the person who lived there gathered outside.
Members of Jajuan Latham's family were also on the scene. Latham was 12 years old when he was killed in a gang shooting in April 2016.
Multiple investigators are conducting interviews and reviewing evidence from the scene. Police Chief David Rausch also responded to the scene.
Police are asking for more information about what may have happened. They ask people who may know more to call KPD's crime information line at 865-215-7212 and say callers may remain anonymous.
The house is down the road from Belle Morris Elementary and Whittle Springs Middle Schools.
