The Knoxville Police Department said Tuesday morning a man is in custody wanted for questioning in the December 2015 shooting death of 15-year-old Zaevion Dobson.

Officers arrested Kipling Deshawn Colbert Jr. for evading arrest and KPD said additional charges are possible.

KPD attempted to stop a vehicle Monday with three people inside, including Colbert.

The driver of the vehicle, Richard Williams, tried to evade officers and caused a minor hit and run crash at the intersection of Summit Hill Drive and Central Street.

Williams continued to flee until he stopped his vehicle on Dandridge Avenue where all three occupants ran on foot.
