Loudon County Sheriff’s deputies arrested an armed robbery suspect Friday morning after the suspect crashed a car in a pursuit with law enforcement.

LCSO said the man robbed a Lenoir City business around 7:37 a.m. Friday.

The suspect left the scene of the robbery in a car on Highway 11 in downtown Lenoir City, according to LCSO.

Authorities said the suspect wrecked the car at the intersection of Highway 11 and Browder School Road.

Law enforcement officers took the suspect into custody shortly afterwards.
