The months-long fraud trial for four former Pilot Flying J executives is at last coming to an end.
Lawyers on both sides wrapped up Thursday morning in federal court in Chattanooga.
On Monday afternoon, jurors will hear prosecutors present their arguments for why the former president and three other sales executives should be found guilty of plotting to rip off some Pilot fuel customers.
It’s expected closing arguments for both sides will go through Tuesday. Deliberations should begin Wednesday.
Still, a verdict in the alleged multi-million dollar scam probably won’t come next week.
The jury is only scheduled to work through next Wednesday which means jurors will have to continue considering the case the week of Feb. 12.
