Crews transported two men to the hospital after one shot the other and then got hit by car.
It happened around 4:45 p.m. Thursday near the Broadway and Magnolia Avenue intersection in north Knoxville.
Knoxville police told 10News the man shot the victim in the leg. Officers found the suspect near Central Street and Fifth Avenue.
He ran away from officers across I-40 and was hit by a car.
Both the suspect and the victim were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
Knoxville police are investigating, and charges are pending.
