A Knoxville soccer club wants to know what happened to two of its goals.

The Southside Soccer Club plays on a field at French Memorial Park in south Knox County. Sometime between July 24 and 28th, someone took two of the four goals on the field.

Organizers say the goals were chained together.

The club's registration fees go toward field maintenance and other ongoing expenses, and they don't have the extra money to replace the goals.

"They're aluminum, but they were quite heavy, and quite expensive. So to replace them would probably cost about a thousand dollars each goal," said Roseanne Spain.

The club filed a report with the Knox County Sheriff's Office. They have dealt with some vandalism on the field in the past and hope to eventually install security cameras.
