Two Anderson County residents are facing charges after authorities said they hit a pedestrian with their car and drove off over the weekend. 

A car struck and killed 35-year-old Jade Richardson on Clinton Highway near West Wolf Valley Road around 1:30 a.m. Sunday., according to a crash report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol. 

After receiving a vehicle description from a witness, an Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputy found the suspect vehicle parked at a residence in South Clinton.

Authorities arrested and charged Isaac Alexander Irwin and Destany Lynn Cotner for the fatal hit and run. According to the THP report, Irwin was driving and Cotner was the passenger. 

Irwin, 25, is charged with contempt of court, hit and run of a person, driving under the influence and driving on a suspended or revoked license. Cotner, 25, is charged with driving under the influence.
