For the last few weeks, there's been someone very important missing from our mornings at WBIR 10News.
Rebecca Sweet has been spending time at home with her newborn daughter, Lauren.
Lauren Nicole Sweet was born on December 30th, 2017. We checked in with the new mom to learn what life has been like with her tiny addition.
“I love when Lauren wakes up in the morning. We lay there together and look at each other and those are some special moments,” Rebecca said. “We always say a little prayer together”.
Mom, Dad Nick and baby are all enjoying time as a family of three, plus their two pups!
“I think there’s some stressful moments of being a first time parent and you have to remember this is what you prayed for. She’s the biggest blessing ever and we love her,” Rebecca said. “It’s endless surprises every day.”
If you've missed Rebecca as much as we have, you'll be happy to know she's ready to get back to work on the regular! Like... she's coming back tomorrow!!!
