A warrant for aggravated murder has been issued for the suspect believed to have shot and killed a man in a video posted to Facebook Sunday afternoon.

A warrant for aggravated murder has been issued for the suspect believed to have shot and killed a man in a video posted to Facebook Sunday afternoon.

The incident occurred at 635 East 93rd Street. 

The suspect has been identified as Steve Stephens.

He is described as a 6-foot-1, bald, African-American male with a full beard. 

Stephens allegedly shot and killed 74-year-old Robert Godwin, Sr., as Godwin walked along E. 93rd Street.

Although authorities initially reported the murder was streamed on Facebook live, a spokesperson with the social media site said the footage was actually recorded and uploaded.

Stephens had been live on Facebook in a separate post.

WKYC has edited the clip below from the original video posted on Facebook, but some users may still may find the edited footage difficult to watch. 

Stephens also claims to have committed several other crimes, including additional killings, but police say they have no known additional victims.

Police crews continue to search multiple areas in the city, but residents of Pennsylvania, New York, Indiana and Michigan are urged to be on alert, as Stephens may have fled the state.

He is driving a white Ford Fusion with temporary tags  E363630. 

He is considered armed and dangerous, if seen, call 9-1-1.
