Ingredients:
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup tomato puree
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp coriander powder
2 Tbs heavy whipping cream
2 cups dry black lentils
1 cup dry red kidney beans
Directions:
Soak dry black lentils and kidney beans in water for 6-8 hours. Cook for 15 mins in pressure cooker. Heat olive oil and ghee in a sauce pan. Sauté finely chopped onion for 2-3 mins. Add ginger garlic paste and turmeric, red chili powder, cumin and coriander powder. Add tomato purée. Cook for 10-15 mins. Add cooked lentils and beans. Add water and cook for 20-25 mins. Add cream and cook for 5 mins.Garnish with cream and serve with basmati rice.
