(WBIR) A Knoxville Area Transit manager has resigned following an investigation into his "unwanted advances" toward several female employees.

Clifford Reynolds, the company's safety director, submitted his letter of resignation Friday.

10News received a viewer tip regarding the allegations against Reynolds on August 15. We submitted a public records request to look through his personnel file.

According to the documents, Reynolds was suspended with pay on August 12 following a complaint about "making unwanted advances and requests of several female employees."

The letter from KAT CEO Beverly Campbell stated it was now Reynolds's opportunity to tell his "side of the story."

Reynolds began at KAT back in August 1998 as a trolley/bus/lift driver. In July 2012, Reynolds became the organization's safety manager.
