More than 200 coffee shops across the country, including one in Knoxville, will become the ultimate spot for "Gilmore Girls" fans this week.

Luke's Diner, from the fictional town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut, will come to life on Wednesday, Oct. 5 and customers will be treated to free cups of coffee, courtesy of Netflix.

The one-day only event is being held on the 16th anniversary of the show's premiere and is also promoting the upcoming Netflix series "Gilmore Girls: A year in the life," which debuts on Nov. 25.

In Knoxville, The Golden Roast will transform into Luke's Diner starting at 7 a.m. Wednesday. It's located at 825 Melrose Place.

It's one of eight Tennessee locations getting the "Gilmore Girls" treatment but is the only one in East Tennessee.
