Greene County comes in at number two for most turkeys harvested this season.

A total of 32,495 turkeys were killed during the March 29-May 11 season, according to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, 786 of which were in Greene County.

Maury County came in at number one with more than 1,100 turkeys.

The record harvest, 36,780 wild turkeys, was in 2010.
