KCSO arrests, charges 2 suspects after stabbing at gas station

Knox County Sheriff's Office arrested two suspects involved in a stabbing at the Weigel's on East Emory Road on Saturday night.

UPDATE Jan. 29: The Knox County Sheriff's Office has arrested two suspects involved in a stabbing Saturday night.

James Henry Jr.,57, and Christina May, 41, were both arrested in Cocke County Monday morning, KCSO said in a release.

The two are accused of stabbing two victims on Saturday night at the Weigel's off East Emory Road and Dry Gap Pike. Henry and May are in jail.

Henry has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated assault. He's being held on a $215,000 bond.

May has been charged with facilitation of first degree murder and aggravated assault. She's being held on a $125,000 bond.

UPDATE Jan. 28: The Knox County Sheriff's Office said it's searching for a suspect after a stabbing at a North Knox County gas station.

Deputies said the suspect stabbed two people at the Weigel's on East Emory Road Saturday night.

Both men stabbed in the incident were taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for treatment, according to KCSO.

ORIGINAL STORY Jan. 27: Knox County Sheriff's Office is responding to a possible stabbing off of Emory Road near Dry Gap Pike, according to Knox County dispatchers.

Dispatchers say the call came down around 8:40 p.m. Saturday.

Crime scene tape is up around a Weigel's gas station with multiple KCSO vehicles surrounding the area.

It is unknown at this time if there are any injuries, and the extent of those injuries.
