KCSO: Missing 42-year-old woman found safe

Knox County Sheriff's Office found a missing 42-year-old woman Saturday evening. She is safe.

UPDATE 6:22 p.m.: The Knox County Sheriff's Office located a missing 42-year-old woman Saturday evening. She was found safe.

Rebecca Brown had been missing since 5 a.m. Feb. 21 and was last seen at her home.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit said thank you to the public for its assistance in the investigation and helping locate Brown.

PREVIOUS: The Knox County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing 42-year-old woman who has been missing since Wednesday.

Rebecca Brown was last seen at her home off of Rifle Range Road at 5 a.m. on Feb. 21, according to KCSO.

Brown is a white female about five feet and five inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds, according to a release from KCSO. She may be driving an orange 2001 Ford Explorer Sport with a Tennessee license plate that has UK9713 on it.
