One person has died in a single car crash on Highway 66.

Kenneth M. Altman, 46, of Kodak, died after crashing into a cement wall on Highway 66 Thursday morning, according to Sevierville Police.

Investigators said the crash happened near 3385 Winfield Dunn Parkway in North Sevierville at around 4:50 a.m. Thursday.

According to the police department, witnesses stated that a Ford Taurus traveling east on Interstate 40 was being driven erratically when it exited at the 407 interchange and started driving south on Highway 66.
