Athens Police are looking for a man who walked into a local Walmart earlier this month, and walked out with a container of donations meant for sick kids.

According to Detective Josh Rhodes, the man caught on surveillance camera on July 5 took a container of money meant for the Children's Miracle Network. He used a two-wheeled cart that he also stole from the store.

The cart and the donation container were loaded into a small, light-colored car and the thief drove away.

Investigators don't know how much money was in the donation jar.

If you have any information, you are asked to contact Det. Rhodes at the Athens Police Department at 423-744-2739.
