"'Today is Harvest Day at the HOPE!!' Those were Emmette’s words this morning as we held a devotion time to thank God and pray before unpacking the trucks from our Zoo Days for The HOPE event this past weekend," Mission of Hope Knox wrote on Facebook.

The group thanked Zoo Knoxville, their incredible staff and volunteers, and "everyone who deems [them] worthy of donations or time volunteering".

"Most importantly, we thank God for His continued Blessings upon us to Extend True HOPE into the Mountains!" the post said.
