UPDATE: A missing 12-year-old boy sought in Oak Ridge has been found.

Oak Ridge police tweeted about 10:25 p.m. that the unnamed boy had been located.

PREVIOUS STORY: Oak Ridge police were looking Monday night for a missing 12-year-old boy.

The child, whose name was not released, was described as being 4 feet, 10 inches in height and about 65 pounds.

Police issued the alert after 7 p.m.

The boy has brown hair and eyes. He was wearing brown pants, a green American Eagle shirt and orange Skechers shoes, according to the Oak Ridge Police Department.

He last was seen on Georgia Avenue.
