Paula Deen's Lumberjack Feud coming to Pigeon Forge this spring

The show features a feud between two Smoky Mountain families – the Dawsons and the McGraws. World-class lumberjacks participate in a variety of thrilling, fast-paced tests of skill and prowess ranging from chopping and axe throwing to tree climbing and log rolling.

The Lumberjack Feud attraction is coming back to Pigeon Forge--- with a new celebrity behind it in a new location.

Paula Deen's Lumberjack Feud is scheduled to open in late Spring 2018 in Walden's Landing, just off the Parkway near Wears Valley Road. It will be the first permanent outdoor venue lumberjack show in Tennessee.

The show features a feud between two Smoky Mountain families – the Dawsons and the McGraws. World-class lumberjacks participate in a variety of thrilling, fast-paced tests of skill and prowess ranging from chopping and axe throwing to tree climbing and log rolling.

This new show comes after Dolly Parton purchased the original home of the Lumberjack Feud Dinner show in 2015. She reimagined and reopened it in May 2016 as Dolly Parton's Lumberjack Adventure. The next year, the show changed again, this time to Dolly Parton's Smoky Mountain Adventures, a show about Dolly's parents in their youth.

Now, celebrity cook Paula Deen is ready to give her some competition!

“Pigeon Forge has become a second home for my family and me. The community has been warm and welcoming from the moment I opened Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen and I’m thrilled to bring this action-packed show full of family fun back to the area for both residents and visitors to enjoy,” said Deen.

“I’m fired up to be part of Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud. We have some of the most talented athletes from around the country who are ready to get Pigeon Forge back into the action and family-friendly competition of timbersports,” said Derek Knutson, Lumberjack Feud Show Manager. “Our new show is going to bring back some events that have been long-standing crowd favorites while introducing new events that are really going to get the audience jacked up!”

The 350-person outdoor venue home to Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud will feature padded seating under a covered, climate-controlled grandstand designed for the guests’ comfort. The show will operate rain or shine with the season running spring through December. The lumberjacks will perform daily with show times and reservations available soon here.
