A fan watching the Vols vs. LSU game Saturday night was hit by a piece of metal that was torn from the scoreboard at Neyland Stadium.
The University of Tennessee spokesperson said high winds blew the sheet of metal into the crowd, hitting the man. The man was able to walk out of the stadium and was treated at a local hospital, UT officials said. His injuries are unknown.
Chad Wyrick was in the crowd when the metal came flying. He posted this video to Twitter.

Wyrick said he was sitting about four rows behind the man who got hit.
"Immediately people, both LSU and Tennessee fans went to help him," Wyrick said.
People in the crowd were shaken by the incident.
"People were questioning is this stadium safe? Are we safe sitting here?" he said.
Wyrick said he's never seen weather that bad in Neyland Stadium.
Winds gusted up to 50 miles per hour across East Tennessee on Saturday night. These winds downed multiple trees and power lines in the area.

"It was like a monsoon. It was something I've never seen before," he said.
Wyrick said the incident won't stop him from coming to Neyland, but it will make him think twice about where his chooses to sit. He has a message for UT officials.
"It's unacceptable, it really is. I hope they can address this and fix it to where it never happens again," Wyrick said.
The university said fan safety is always its number one priority.
