A high school principal has been reassigned while he's investigated on domestic violence charges.
Marty A. Walker, 45, has been principal at Fentress County High School for eight years, according to director of schools Mike Jones.
According to court documents, Walker's daughter called 911 just after 11 p.m. on November 4 to say her dad "pushed her down on the floor while she was holding her three week old daughter in the laundry room."
She also said that Walker slapped her mom at their home in Clarkrange.
Walker was charged with domestic violence and child endangerment.
Jones said that Walker had been reassigned to a non-instruction setting at this time.
"Our students and employees well being is our utmost concern," said Jones.
