If you've been on the fence about adopting a kitty friend, this week would be a good time to make the pounce!

Young-Williams Animal Center is letting people adopt any of its cats and kittens for free all week starting Monday, Nov. 13 until Sunday, Nov. 19.

The center said it received another free adoption week sponsorship from the Petco Foundation.

Judging by Young-Williams' website on Monday, there were more than 80 kitties in need of homes when the event started!

If you'd like to adopt, you can head to either of the center's adoption locations in Knox County at 6400 Kingston Pike and 3201 Division Street. Adoptions end at 5:30 p.m. promptly each day.

All adoptions come with spay/neuter services, microchipping, a preliminary physical exam, an initial round of vaccinations, deworming, flea and tick treatment, heartworm testing and prevention, FELV and FIV testing, and 30 days of pet insurance.

Because the cats are totally free, it would be nice to pay it forward by donating to Young-Williams to help animals in need. You can also help the shelter with immediate needs by donating kitten formula at its location on 3201 Division Street or gifting it to them from their Amazon Wish List.
