A Knoxville man is behind bars after investigators say he fired a gun at a woman while chasing her in his car.
Kameron Thomas, 19, is charged with attempted murder. Investigators with the Knox County Sheriff's Office say Thomas was following a woman in her car late Sunday night on Gleason Drive and Idlewood Lane.
The woman says he started firing a gun at her, and as she attempted to get away, crashed her car into a parked vehicle.
No one was hit by any gun shots.
Thomas is being held in the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility on a $250,000 bond.
