The National Retail Federation says "Super Saturday" is estimated to be the single biggest day for retailers. A release from the NRF says about 53 percent of consumers will finish up shopping on Saturday.

According to a survey from the NRF, only 12 percent of consumers say they will have finished all their holiday shopping as of Dec. 12. That same survey found about 126 million people will plan to shop the weekend of "Super Saturday."

Some retailers in East Tennessee are extending hours and keeping doors open for the surge of last minute Christmas shoppers.
