(WBIR, Knoxville) Tax free weekend is in full swing across Tennessee.

It started Friday and lasts through Sunday at midnight. During that time clothes, school supplies and computers are tax free.

The holiday coincides with the back-to-school season, but anyone can take advantage of the deals.

On Saturday morning, there was a line outside of the Apple Store in West Town Mall as some were trying to save money buying computers and iPads.

"I've needed a computer for a long time, and I decided this was the time I had to devote to learning it. And for getting the sales tax free; that was my incentive to get out and do it this weekend," said Lisa Campbell from Crossville.

Campbell says she saved around $150 by buying her computer on Saturday. "That's significant. That's worth getting up early and driving to Knoxville for," she said.

Some brides are also cashing in on tax free deals this weekend. White Lace & Promises is offering a 10% discount on wedding dresses, which is about the equivalent of what the bride would pay in tax.

"I came in here, and I didn't know there was a sale. I knew it was tax free weekend, but I didn't know wedding dresses would be on sale, so it was kind of a nice surprise," said Kaitlin Houser.

She is getting married next May, and is hoping she can find her dress this weekend.

"There's nothing like it! It's just fun trying on all the different silhouettes and everything. It feels so good to be in one," Houser said.

Other stores are also offering tax free discounts this season that aren't covered by the state.
