The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal single-vehicle wreck near Pellissippi Parkway and Oak Ridge Highway.
Two people died in the crash. THP identified them as 25-year-old Ashley Webb and 24-year-old Brandon Flores from Conway, S.C.
The call came down at 7:05 p.m. Sunday.
A THP trooper on the scene said Flores was driving a 2015 Nissan Versa on Pellissippi Parkway toward Oak Ridge right before Oak Ridge Highway. The vehicle went off the roadway through the center median and went down embankment before crashing into a tree and catching on fire.
THP said both had their seatbelts on and were not driving under the influence. The families of the two have been notified.
