Three years later: Knoxville double murder remains unsolved

Saturday marks three years since 56-year-old Gary Cooley and 46-year-old Regina Keck were found dead inside an Alma Avenue home. 

Investigators determined the two had been shot, but the case remained unsolved.

When Cooley failed to show up to work on April 29, 2014, his co-workers at the Knox Housing Partnership sent someone to check his home at 4100 Alma Avenue. That employee found Cooley's door wide open and called the police.

Now three years later, Knoxville Police hope someone can help crack the cold case. Authorities handed out fliers and visited neighbors on Thursday to urge anyone with information about Cooley and Keck's deaths to come forward.
