On Dec. 8, 2017, Covenant Health introduced their 2018 Marathon Team Members. Each of the team members come from different walks of life but all share one thing in common: all are over the age of 50.

The members of the 2018 marathon team will serve as ambassadors for health, fitness and the Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon. This year's team will encourage people of all ages to get up and get going toward a better quality of life using the health and fitness tools they are giving while on the team.

Among the 2018 team members is WBIR Chief Meteorologist Todd Howell who plans to run the half marathon.
