Knoxville police identified two victims who died after their truck crashed into a home on northwest Knoxville Wednesday morning.

The driver Justin Brian Gordy, 25, of Knoxville lost control truck and plowed into a front bedroom. Knoxville Fire Department said the truck's fuel tank ruptured, catching the house on fire.

Officials pronounced Gordy and his passenger Amanda E. Coggins, 25, of Knoxville dead at the scene.

The homeowner Dennis Hoffman and his wife weren't injured.

Authorities cannot determine whether the crash or fire killed Gordy and Coggins.
