We’re at T-minus 8, but this countdown isn’t about space shots. 

It’s the days ticking off until Thanksgiving and the holiday shopping frenzy begins.

Toys R Us has released its Black Friday ad.

And the last major retailer to jump in before launch is Toys R Us, which released its Black Friday ad Wednesday afternoon on www.toysrus.com.

The New Jersey-based chain’s Black Friday marathon blasts off 5 p.m. Thanksgiving and continues through 11 p.m. Black Friday at most locations. Babies R Us stores open 8 a.m. Friday. 

The toy store's 28-page Black Friday circular has discounts on everything from Barbie dolls, Lego sets and video games to swing sets and diapers.

Some items will be available online starting 9 p.m. EST Nov. 22 and are available while supplies last through Saturday.

Although many retailers this holiday season have been advertising more doorbusters will be available in-store and online, Toys R Us has two full pages of deals that will only be available in-store from 5 p.m. to midnight Thursday.

Savings tips: Use the store’s free loyalty program, Rewards R Us, on all your Toys R Us and Babies R Us purchases. R Us credit cardholders earn rewards faster get 10 percent off an in-store purchase every Thursday through Feb. 1. Other offers are available for new credit cardholders
