( WBIR - NEWPORT) Popcorn Sutton's Memorial Jam kicked Friday night in Cocke County.
The festival celebrates the life of infamous moonshiner Popcorn Sutton. It combines music and food, but no moonshine.
The Memorial Jam moved to Newport last year after being held in Maggie Valley, North Carolina.
The event features a long lineup of bands and food vendors and attracts people from all over the country to learn more about the man behind the moonshine.
