HOPKINS, Minn. - With a week left until the big day, a couple of turkeys seemingly took a stand against Thanksgiving, blocking Minnesota traffic.

David Schoettler tweeted the photo Thursday afternoon to our sister station in Minnesota with the caption, "Turkeys protesting Thanksgiving. Traffic at a stand still."

Schoettler said the traffic was backed up for about four miles and no one was moving.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation also tweeted to warn drivers of the animals blocking the highway.
