The rock on UT's campus has been given a new paint job.

It's now gray and says "WELCOME TO ROCKY TOP COACH PRUITT."

On Thursday morning, WBIR confirmed Jeremy Pruitt was set to take over as the new head football coach at Tennessee. At the time, the rock had not been changed. After an unprecedented coaching search finally came to an end at Tennessee, Vol fans returned to give the rock a new paint job.

Pruitt, who has been Alabama's Defensive Coordinator, will be formally named the 26th head coach for the Tennessee Vol football program at 6:05 p.m. Thursday.

A deal was reached between the coach and the University after much discussion on Wednesday night, which was confirmed with WBIR's sources.
