Knoxville Central traveled to Marshall County in a 4A semifinal matchup.

The Tigers defense has held their post season opponents to a combined 13 points, and they showed how they've done it early on, returning a Jadarius Sackie strip for six.

The Tigers find themselves in good position with a 21-3 lead in the first half. A Bobcat touchdown pass to Rondrow Peebles will close the the gap though.

Later, Central will get help from the Tiger offense when Javarria Rucker loses control of the ball and Sackie is there to pick it up. That will set Sackie up to run the ball in for another score.

The score was 24-17 at halftime, but Central fights back with 14 unanswered points in the second half to finish on top.

Central beats Marshall County 31-24 to advance to the 4A State Title game. They play Memphis East on December 3 at 3 p.m. CST.
