The Tennessee Volunteers will play their final home game of the season Saturday and will honor their seniors who will step on the field at Neyland Stadium one last time.
Among those seniors is Vols quarterback and captain, Joshua Dobbs. " I think he defines what a student athlete is all about. He's a face in this community, he's giving of his time. You look at the curriculum that he's involved in, he's a very good student," Tennessee head coach Butch Jones said.
Dobbs is majoring in Aerospace engineering and has played all four years for Tennessee. He's been "consistent day in and day out," Jones said.
Tennessee lists 10 total seniors on their roster. Jones said, "I'm proud of all our seniors" and he called the group "very special".
"Winning on the field, winning off the field, winning in the community and first and foremost graduating with a degree, that's what it's all about," added Jones.
Tennessee will take on Missouri on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.
